SALT Spotlight: Dr. Marion Terenzio

Dr. Marion Terenzio, PhD, is being inaugurated as the 12th President of SUNY Cobleskill Agricultural and Technical College this week. Prior to this position, she was Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty, Bloomfield College where she served as the chief academic officer.  Dr. Terenzio served 26 years at The Sage Colleges in Troy, New York where she was the Vice President for Campus Life, and a professor in the Divisions of The Arts and Psychology. Dr. Terenzio first served the Sage Colleges as a teacher and scholar in music, music therapy and psychology. She also served as the college organist and choir director.

At a SALT joint Board and Staff meeting recently, Dr. Terenzio shared her vision for SUNY Cobleskill and her plans to integrate the college and Schoharie County community more fully. SALT is pleased to be partnering with Dr. Terenzio and SUNY Cobleskill with the goal of creating renewal within the county through culture, arts and economy development.
