Bounty of the County is back!  SALT Development is pleased to host its fifth annual Bounty of the County Gala gourmet seasonal cocktail hour and dinner at the Carrot Barn in Schoharie, on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 6-10 p.m. You can purchase tickets at www.saltdevelopment.org/5thboctickets/, by calling us at 518-702-5017, or by sending in a check to SALT with the RSVP. 

The Bounty of the County Gala is SALT Development’s major fundraiser and promises to be an evening of culinary decadence and delight. Executive Chef Tyler DeGroff of Upstate Gourmet will again work with local Schoharie Valley and regional farmers and businesses to showcase regional ingredients, beer, wine and spirits.  SALT will also entertain a silent auction throughout the night.  The price for the event will be $150 per person or $90 each for individuals forty and under.

The event, chaired by SALT board member Pat Clancy, will benefit SALT Development, a community development and emergency preparedness organization in Schoharie County.  SALT is well known in the region for coordinating flood relief after Hurricane Irene.  SALT’s focus is now on emergency preparedness and community development, and the organization is committed to growing a stronger community to help withstand future disasters. Anyone interested in assisting in the planning effort for Bounty of the County is encouraged to contact Sarah Goodrich at 518-702-5017 or sarahg@saltdevelopment.org.
