Bounty of the County recap
Times Union blog
By Deanna Fox
I wanted to extend a very sincere thank you to anyone who made it to the Bounty of the County chefs dinner on Saturday night. I had a great time, and I hope you all did, too! In total, $16,000 was raised to benefit SALT, Inc. and help those affected by flooding in Schoharie County get back into their homes! The event seemed especially poignant in light of the massive flooding in neighboring Montgomery County and throughout the state.
If you are interested in donating to SALT, Inc. please refer to its website.
An HUGE thank you to the chefs, farmers, and sponsors of the event:
Barber’s Farm (thanks Jim and Cindy!)
Schoharie Valley Farms/The Carrot Barn (thanks Richard!!)
Honest Weight Food Co-op (thanks Colie and Amy!)
Wellington’s Herbs and Spices (thanks Carolyn!)
Hessian Hill Farm (thanks Jess and Lois!)
Cowbella/Danforth Jersey Farm (Thanks Shannon!)
Chef David Campbell and SUNY Cobleskill’s Culinary Arts Program
Chef Chris Faraci of Carmen’s Cafe
Chef Sarah Fish of The Hungry Fish Cafe and Country Store
Chef Marla Ortega of Illium Cafe
Chef Justin Engineri of Portofino’s
Chef Dale Miller of Sperry’s
And everyone on the BOTC commitee! Couldn’t be done without you. THANK YOU!
