Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Inc. is generously donating $5,000 to SALT’s summer rebuilding program, Building Hope, Rebuilding Community.

The program aims to complete the equivalent of 15 home rebuilds in a 12-week period by leveraging volunteer and low-cost labor and supplies.  Bank of America funding will assist with various project needs including materials procurement and project management.

Bank of America’s Community Development program prioritizes “Preserving Neighborhoods” by awarding grants to projects that are “addressing the housing continuum by helping distressed individuals stay in their homes and move toward financial stability…and increasing access to affordable housing” and “Revitalizing Communities” by  “driving economic development through support of organizations and initiatives that contribute to the vitality and livability of communities.”

Representatives from Bank of America Schoharie and Albany West Market Bank of America met with SALT Executive Director Sarah Goodrich on Thursday, August 8, to present SALT with a check donation.  Pictured above from left to right are Russell Du Pont, Vice President and Consumer Market Manager for the Albany West Market at Bank of America, SALT Executive Director Sarah Goodrich, and Linda Gagliardi, Assistant Vice President and Banking Center Manager, Bank of America Schoharie.
